Unlike small wheel folding bikes, where the distance between the seat and the handlebars has been shortened to allow for a small folded size, our bikes are built with a full size frame hand crafted in our factory in France.

AMiiVA bikes frames are made of high grade aluminium alloy. All the tubes are custom drawn using 3D CAD software and manufactured specifically for AMiiVA to create a stronger, lighter and more durable frame. The central alloy tube, the real backbone of the frame, is realized by high-pressure hydroforming, concentrating material at proper reinforcement intervals and eliminating excess material to ensure the highest strength-to -weight ratio.

The frame is TIG welded «up right» in our factory and then heat treated in a caring oven to restore the original molecular structure of the aluminum alloy to increase the overall rigidity. All weld beads are sanded for a smooth finishing look to give a final visually stunning appeal.

AmiiVA frame geometry is unique in the world of small-wheeled folding bikes, usually known for poor handling. The frame geometry borrows from the MTB the wheelbase length, the seat and head tube angles, and from the BMX its fork rake. The results are a stiff yet light frame with an excellent power transmission efficiency and a very reactive bike easy to handle by riders of all sizes on any type of road pavement.
