Our product development work has focused on looking for the best compromise between performance on the road and the compactness of the folded bike, refining the geometry and saving on weight.

A key feature of the AMiiVA bikes is its patented frame built around two proprietary hinges developed by AMiiVA engineers with the same CAD software used to build the A380. AMiiVA Hingenious^TM front stem hinge is totally integrated in the stem enabling the use of standard adjustable handlebars (1 1/8" standard) and integrated headsets. The Hingenious^TM central hinge is designed to lock up automatically when the bike is ready to go and to keep securely locked front and rear wheels together when folded. 

Without any difficulty, the complete folding takes less than 10 seconds. When folded, the frame stays locked effortlessly, making a compact package the size of a small suitcase ready to be rolled away. The folded bike may be picked up, pushed or dragged without any risk that the bike will unfold. The total length of the bike is 1580mm with a wheel base of 1100mm; when folded the dimensions are: 630mm x 780mm x 340mm. The distance between seatpost and handlebar stem is 620mm. The minimum saddle height is 570mm and the maximum 840mm.
