Most of the bicycles built today fall into the disposable category. AMiiVA has been designed to last. We want our bikes to be part of the solution to lower our carbon footprint, not to be part of the problem by being manufactured in the countries which contribute the most to the global warming of our planet. AMiiVA bikes are designed, built and assembled in France.
Because small-wheeled folding bikes have often been synonymous with poor handling, we took special care in designing a bike you can ride hands-off or standing up and enjoy an effortless ride. We do not offer off-the -shelf solutions, we don't take shortcuts.
Our bikes are the result of truly original and innovative design solutions created by our in-house R&D team of technicians. All our original parts have been designed using the latest CAD software for 3D modelling and digital prototyping.

Lighter is better, to be genuinely portable. Our patented frame is designed to get the most sturdiness out of the aluminium tubes we use and offers an excellent compromise between compactness and performance on the road.If a good frame has to be light, torsional stiffness and geometry are also essential. The central tube, the backbone of our full-size frame, is made of high grade aluminium alloy hydroformed to our specifications.
Our HingeniousTM patented technology used on the 2 folding mechanisms of our bike adds an extra margin of safety and peace of mind. Folding or unfolding is simple, fast and safe.
We are committed to building the safest bikes possible. Our bikes incorporate many different design features and technologies to improve safety. Multiple samples of every new frame are sent for testing by an outside laboratory. Testing lets us build in adequate safety margins.
